Welcome Baptist Church is an independent fundamental Baptist church in Union where they really do live up to their name—they're known for warmly welcoming visitors and staying active in the community through visiting the sick and shut-in, serving those in need, and local service projects. Under the leadership of Dr. Robert Jarvis, they also run Advance Bible College to train believers in ministry and host the Preacher's Jubilee, an encouragement event for preachers that's been going since the 1980s. You'll find them at 206 Nichols Ave., and they'd love to have you visit for Sunday school at 10 a.m. or worship at 11 a.m.
