Text message (SMS) verification & opt-in
iSteeple sends text messages for one purpose only: a one-time, 6-digit code that a church leader requests to verify they own a church listing. This page explains exactly how you opt in and what you agree to.
How to opt in
You opt in on this website — we never text you first, and you are never added to a list. Consent is given by you, for a single message you ask for:
- 1Find your church and open its listing on iSteeple.
- 2Click “Claim this listing.”
- 3On the claim page, click the “Text a code” button and check the consent box. Clicking is your affirmative consent to receive that one verification text.
- 4We send a single 6-digit code. Enter it to finish claiming your listing.
